Full House Remake (Philippine Version)

& this is fuck! ARGH! I’m so annoyed with this! So let’s just talk about this straight to the point. I got all the sources from wikipedia so there.

Full House is an upcoming Philippine Comedy adapted from a Korean drama with the Full House; directed by Mark A. Reyes and developed by Aloy Adlawan. The series will premiere on November2009 in the Philippines via GMA Network, starring Richard Gutierrez and Heart Evangelista reprising the roles of Rain and Song Hye Kyo.

Cast

• Richard Gutierrez as Wayne Justin

• Heart Evangelista as Jessica Jessie

• Isabel Oli as Lorraine

• Patrick Garcia as Luigi

 

I actually don’t know what to say about this. I think they should have just gotten a new actor and actress to play for the leading roles. I can’t imagine Richard Gutierrez to be an annoying cute person just like what Rain did for his role. As of Heart Evangelista… I don’t know. Just don’t do an overrated acting. If that could happen, that would be fine.

When I first heard of this remake, I had Isabel Oli in my mind to play the role of Lorraine. I think she can pull it off. As for the role of Luigi, which will be played by Patrick Garcia, I think he has the silent-type-look but not the o-so-hot-look. :/

One f*cking thing about this are the names of the main roles!!! We love the names Justin and Jessie because of Full House, but then, why change it into Wayne and Jessica????

 

Am hoping for something good for this remake since this drama is one of the most well loved drama all over Asia. A Vietnamese version is actually coming up and I’m really anticipating for it, Hope this remake would be a success

 

EDITED: They decided to go with the names of Justin and Jessie! DD && the other casts are Sheena Halili (as Liezel), Rainier Castillo (as Ronald), and Gary Estrada as Don Fulgencio. I know Eugene Domingo is going to play a role in this drama, but where is she? D:

The Philippines After the Storm

It has been three days since the typhoon Ondoy left the borders of the Philippines, my country. It was a really hard situation for all of us since the situation that we thought that only happens in the province, actually happened in the urban areas. Its the first time that I encountered this kind of calamity (well my house wasn’t really affected by the massive flood) but the city near ours, Marikina City, had to experience such a tragic thing.

Many people are homeless right now and lost their family. The death toll was said to be about 240 and some are still missing. I have friends who live in Marikina City and it is such a pity that they lost their houses.

Classes are suspended for this whole week because of this incident.

It makes me wonder, is this all in accordance to God’s will? I think I already know what he wants to say.

To take care of our surroundings, to stop this global warming.

I’m praying to God that this coming storm (another storm is set to come to our country tonight or this morning) won’t give us so much disaster just like the last one. Our country is still trying to recover from this tragedy. We hope that this won’t happen again.

Please pray for the souls of those who died last saturday.
